The planned removal of some 70 plus trees in the Selwerd park to make room for wider and newer bike paths, plus the destruction of beloved green habitat in the Paddepoel area (pictured above) is a major concern for residents of this area. Not only residents but also bikers are protesting this action because they too cherish the green spaces and urban forests on their way to work each day. Please support us by signing this petition to stop the removal of this precious area.
